Hi

How are you? I hope everyone is doing well. I have arrived safely in Mexico. It was a LONG flight. I flew four hours to Dallas, Texas (at 6 in the morning). After waiting there for an hour, I boarded my plane for Mexico. That was another 2 and a 1/2 hour flight. I was pretty tired. When I got off my flight in Guadalajara, I was very nervous. I had to go through customs alone. I almost cried many times. Fortunately, the Mexican people are very nice. They got me through in one piece. My host brother and sister picked me up. It was a two hour car ride to my house. I went to bed pretty early. The next day I woke up and enjoyed a nice breakfast with my host parents. (My host siblings were still asleep.) I watched tv until my host sisters woke up. Then they took me out to go shopping. It was fun. We came home for dinner and then I went to a movie with one of my host sisters and her friend. It was really nice. I liked her friend alot. Finally, we went and closed the coffee shop my family owns. I went to bed VERY late. The next morning I was woken up at 8 am. We went and climbed a mountain to hear a speech about conserving resources. After that we went to breakfast and more shopping. I saw a parade and then a show with a lot of horses. I went home and went to bed pretty early. Today I woke up, and went out with my sisters again. I just hung out with them today, no shopping. Tomorrow we might go to the beach. Other than being tired ALL the time from adjusting to a new culture and language, I am doing very well. I like my host family very much. They are extremely nice people. I miss you all very much.
